Bluewoods Campsite

Bluewoods is an Adventure Lodge and campsite situated in Tilgate Forest Recreation Centre, Crawley in easy walking distance of both K2 Crawley (leisure centre with swimming pools and climbing walls) and also of Tilgate Park.

Tilgate Park Watersports run kayaking, raft building and off-road cycling in the park, which also has an adventure play area, Nature Centre and extensive walks. Adventure Lodge has a large hall, carpeted second hall and fully equipped kitchen, in addition to toilets, showers and a fully accessible wet room and is approved for both residential and day events.

The campsite is a securely fenced area of woodland dedicated to Girlguiding and is next to the Lodge, with water and electric points, an altar fireplace beside one clearing and campfire circle.

Nowhurst Campsite

Situated in fourteen acres of beautiful Sussex woodland, there are three unequipped sites at Nowhurst. 

Burgess Hill Division Guide Hall

Burgess Hill division Guide Hall is set in its own grounds, close to the town centre.

The available accommodation consists of Main Hall and Quiet Room, Kitchen, Toilets, Shower, Entrance Hall/Cloakroom.

The maximum number of people allowed within the premises at any one time is 70 auditorium style, 50 for functions etc and for overnight sleeping 18 plus Leaders.

It has disabled access & facilities.

Copthorne Guide Centre

The Centre shares a site with Copthorne Scouts and the 2 halls are available to hire individually or together – the communicating door makes an ideal space for sleepovers

Each hall has its own kitchen and toilet facitilies including disabled WC.  The kitchens each have 2 electric ovens, a gas hob and a fridge.  Crockery and cutlery is provided along with a selection of cooking pots and pans.

The adjacent Humphry’s field is a public open space and can be used on a ‘non-exclusive’ basis.  There are 2 parking bays for each hall which are usually utilised by Guide/Scout leaders during unit meetings and main organisers for other bookings.  There is a council owned car park at the top of Humphry’s field.
