This course covers the knowledge and skills necessary to enable members of Girlguiding to provide basic First Aid and ensure safe management of a first aid incident, and includes:

• Life Support
• Trauma and injury
• Major illness
• Practical skills observation

This course is suitable for volunteers who need to renew their 1st Response qualification or who need to complete First Aid training for the first time.

To complete the 1st Response qualification participants will also need to complete the 1st Response e-learning module before the face to face training.
Please bring a notebook, pen, your lunch, drinks (hot water is available) and something to kneel on.

Please wear casual uniform.
