This course covers the knowledge and skills necessary to enable members of Girlguiding to provide basic First Aid and ensure safe management of a first aid incident.

• Major illness
• Practical skills observation

This course is suitable for volunteers who need to renew their 1st Response qualification or who need to complete First Aid training for the first time.

To complete the 1st Response qualification participants will also need to complete the 1st Response e-learning module.

Please bring a notebook, pen, your lunch, drinks (hot water is available) and something to kneel on.

The session will follow any Covid-19 Girlguiding guidance for indoor training that is relevant at the time of the training.

Please wear casual uniform.

Directions

Parking is a little tight on Denne Road, but you can either park in Swan Walk or Piries Place Car Parks, the small Car Park on Denne Road itself, or if very lucky on the roadside down from GHQ
and on the right into the Normandy.
